Mechanical Engineering Intern
Used SolidWorks to create 3D assemblies, 2D drawings, and bill of materials for multiple finished products and subassemblies. Worked a lathe to create a small adaptor to fit a customer's tubing to our ports.

Proposed a solution to a constantly broken bund wall, which was implemented to avoid spillage from chemical containers into the environment. Gained an understanding in the industrial processes used to treat and wrap steel coils.

Redesigned a pressure monitoring system to be more temperature resilient and cost-effective. Created and distributed quotes for customers based on their servicing needs and location.

Repaired the basic electronics of a damaged airship after being taught soldering. Used carbon fiber layering to create a stronger housing for the electronics and batteries that sat on the underside to prevent damage when landing.

Learned the manual mill and lathe to create parts for our team robot to compete in FIRST Robotics Competition. Won the district game in 2023 with a elevator lift and a grab arm.
Team Lead
Led a team of 2 other people to create a hovercraft from provided parts, considering weight distribution and the angle of rudders for optimal thrust from a fan. After an initial failure, we succeeded in creating a working hovercraft that was both easy to handle and fast.
