The manufactured chamber with an ablative lining to ensure the chamber doesn't melt during hotfire.

~7 seconds of burn time.
Aero NU Combustion Chamber
This chamber is part of a three-part rocket engine, the injector, chamber, and nozzle, created as a test stage before the club would move on to making a bigger rocket.
Our team was tasked with creating this chamber for use in testing the full engine. We used SolidWorks to create and dimension this properly. During testing, the chamber held up to pressure conditions and fired successfully when injected with kerosene through a nitrogen pressurized valve system.
The total hotfire lasted for around seven seconds and allowed the team to move on to the next phases of the rocket.
