VJX-Ray
At VJX-Ray, I developed my CAD skills by created 3D models and 2D drawings. Due to NDA requirements, I can't show the internals or CAD for this model, the IXS1515 Portable. This unit was created to be a powerful X-Ray machine without the need for an extra high voltage generator to power it, so it could be used in the field.
The challenge was that the many times it went through changes in the system, some parts internally would be slightly misaligned or different from the changelog. I went in the CAD and examined the internals to ensure there were no leaks or gaps in the radiation shielding that could damage the electrical components inside.
Once confirmed, I created a 2D drawing for a bill of materials (BOM) and a dimension drawing similar to the one at the bottom and uploaded them to the shared server. Documenting this was a critical step to prevent this version error from happening again.

IXS1515: Generates 150kV and 150 watts of power

IXS1515: Used in portable scenarios, such as X-Raying a car on scene, or to find explosives.
